About the Role
The General Ledger Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This position is responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting timely financial closing, and delivering accurate financial reports. Working closely with the Finance team, this role helps maintain strong financial control and supports overall business decision-making through reliable financial data.
What will you do
- Manage General Ledger activities including reconciliation, verification, recording, and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in the General Ledger.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support monthly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain proper financial controls and compliance.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting audit requirements when needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling General Ledger functions, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Able to multitask, proactive, self-driven, and a strong team player.
- Willing and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Good command of English, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP is an advantage.
